How to order a copy of your credit report from Equifax and TransUnion

There are two major credit reporting agencies in Canada Equifax and TransUnion. You are the only one who can order a copy of your credit report without negatively affecting your credit score.

The first step to credit management requires you to first read and understand what is on your credit report.

In order to purchase a copy of your credit report you will:

 

  • Be required to use a credit card in your own name

  • Be required to answer personal financial questions

  • Be required to provide proof of address such as a gas bill

  • Be required to provide 2 pieces of government issued ID such as Drivers license, Pass Port,
